Extra Extra Extra.... Try It Make It Workshops

It seems that you lot can’t get enough of our Monday Morning Try It Workshops, our weekly “come and  have a play” courses that enable you to learn about new art materials or processes while having fun.  Just £7.50 for each 2 hour session (materials ARE included) means you can pick and chose which ones to attend. 

Places are limited to 12 students and they become Fully Booked on a regular basis so be quick!

If you have missed out on booking a morning session, don’t worry, where possible we try to run an afternoon event on the same day.  At the moment we have made a pm workshop for the following:

Metal Effects Panel – 6^th Feb 2012 - 1:30pm
Layers of cocoon Strippings – 13^th Feb 2012 - 1:30pm

We are always happy to take suggestions of what techniques you would like to do, which materials you aren’t sure how to use or what effects you want to learn how to achieve. So get in touch and we can try and programme them in!

New Featured Artist - Gill Hobson

We are very excited to welcome back Gill Hobson in a showcase of her stunningly beautiful Glass and Metal sculptures.  

Gills’ signature works in glass feature richly intricate combinations of hand-blown crystal glass elements with complex metal work. Detail, colour and light are key aspects of each piece.
Gill creates one of a kind studio pieces influenced by archaeological references and observations of the elegant principles that underlie seemingly random configurations in nature.
