Extra Extra Extra.... Try It Make It Workshops

It seems that you lot can’t get enough of our Monday Morning Try It Workshops, our weekly “come and  have a play” courses that enable you to learn about new art materials or processes while having fun.  Just £7.50 for each 2 hour session (materials ARE included) means you can pick and chose which ones to attend. 

Places are limited to 12 students and they become Fully Booked on a regular basis so be quick!

If you have missed out on booking a morning session, don’t worry, where possible we try to run an afternoon event on the same day.  At the moment we have made a pm workshop for the following:

Metal Effects Panel – 6^th Feb 2012 - 1:30pm
Layers of cocoon Strippings – 13^th Feb 2012 - 1:30pm

We are always happy to take suggestions of what techniques you would like to do, which materials you aren’t sure how to use or what effects you want to learn how to achieve. So get in touch and we can try and programme them in!

Woodblock carving and printing workshop in October

Feeling very excited about a new workshop here at The Beetroot Tree.
Artist Jo McChesney, who featured in our Lines in the Land exhibition earlier this year, will be teaching at the gallery in a two day weekend course.
The course runs on Saturday 1st & Sunday 3nd October 2011 from 10.30am to 4.30pm and includes refreshments and lunch. Read more about the details of the course on our website where you can also book your place.
